Thrissur, Kerala’s cultural capital has been selected for the setting up of a township by Sobha Developers at a cost of Rs. 850 crore.
Often referred to as the golden capital, dealing in almost Rs. 700 crore worth of gold every year, Thrissur is a cash rich city, with a large concentration of NRIs To capitalise on the NRI wealth, Sobha City will be built on a 55 acre township, covering 3 million sq. ft around a 6.4 acre man-made lake, with 78% and 22% of area devoted to residential and commercial spaces.
The high-end customer is the target of the Sobha City, with residential properties ranging from Rs. 2 crore for a villa to Rs. 67-85 lakh for a 3-4 BHK apartment. 25 exclusive villas would be built with 640 apartments.
Sobha Developers chose Thrissur over Kochi for this project to avail of the price advantage and the NRI strength of the city. Located on the Guruvayoor highway, the project will bring a world-class lifestyle to this "global city" when it is completed in 5 years.

Thrissur is known as the cultural and spiritual capital of Kerala, with a number of well-known temples and art academies gracing its cultural and religious terrains. The lush green meadows and the fascinating hillocks add to the scenic beauty of this town, that more or less sees the tourism industry as its life-line. Explore all best hotels in Thrissur.
